YOGA FOR ALL BODIES


Yoga for all bodies means connecting our consciousness to not only the physical but also to our light bodies where pain does not exist.

Gunjan started studying yoga with BKS Iyengar in 1964. She studied with him and TKV Desikachar in Switzerland and with Noelle Perez in France for 5 years. Most of her lessons were private or in very small groups so Gunjan learned to adapt yoga to the individual and still prefers to teach private lessons or small classes so that she can give each student individual attention. She has since studied with other teachers and incorporates knowledge from them into her teaching. Recently she studied Energy Medicine yoga with Lauren Walker and Somatic movement as developed by Thomas Hanna as well as Becoming Bioquantum with Jewels Arnes. Quantum body yoga starts with what we call our physical body but is really the densest layer of our bodies. We release chronic contractions in our muscles and then we can become aware of ourselves as mostly waves of light which allows us to move with ease. Energy Medicine yoga combines working with energy meridians in the body, various breath techniques, and a long Yoga Nidra (guided meditation). Bioquantum exercises allow us to move into our quantum light bodies where there is no resistance (pain). All classes are geared to helping the student listen to her own body and discover what makes her happier and healthier.

YOGA CLASS SCHEDULE

During and after the Covid shut down, Gunjan started teaching yoga classes on Zoom and now is adding in person students in her home.All the classes except the chair yoga class on Wednesday are both on zoom and in person. The chair yoga class is only in person. Replays of the zoom classes are available for at least 48 hours after the class.
Mondays : 11am - 12:30 pm Quantum body yoga., energy medicine yoga and meditation

Wednesdays: 11am -12pm Chair yoga with energy medicine yoga, essential somatic movement for pain relief and easier movement

4pm-5pm: Slow somatic movement

Fridays: 11am-12:30pm: Quantum body yoga, energy medicine yoga and yoga nidra

Saturdays: 11am-12:30pm: Quantum body yoga. Energy medicine yoga, Somatic movement, meditation
